How to use the Days Between Dates
- Pick a start date and an end date.
- Tick “Include end date” if both days should be counted (e.g. for a hotel stay or a leave request).
- See the difference in days, weeks, months and working days.
Should I include the end date?
By default, the calculator counts the days between the dates: from 1 to 3 March is 2 days. If you are counting days of an event that includes both the first and the last day — a 3-day conference from 1 to 3 March — tick “Include end date”.
Working days
The working-days figure excludes Saturdays and Sundays. Public holidays differ by country, so use our business days calculator if you need to exclude holidays too.
